The Idea of You by Robinne Lee

I picked this one up after watching the Netflix movie with Anne Hathaway, and let me just say — the book was SO much better. (A tale as old as time, right?)

The depth, the detail, and the emotions hit so much harder in the book. I loved the story of a woman finding love after a divorce — especially after dealing with a cheating husband. It was empowering to read about someone allowing themselves to rediscover happiness, passion, and confidence in a way that felt genuine and relatable.

Also, the mother-daughter relationship in this story added a whole other layer that made it even more meaningful for me. It wasn’t just about romance — it was about navigating life, love, motherhood, and the way we balance who we were with who we’re becoming.

And the ending… way better in the book than the movie. Period.
