Bridgerton

An Offer from a Gentleman

This one gives total Cinderella vibes—from the dreamy masquerade ball meet-cute to the wicked stepmother and stepsisters (with one redeeming one, thankfully). The twist? Years pass between their first encounter, but the connection never fades.

It’s a sweet reminder that fate has a funny way of bringing the right people back together. A charming, whimsical read with that classic Bridgerton flair.

To Sir Phillip with Love

The beginning of this book is truly heartbreaking—it tugs at the heartstrings and sets the tone for what you think will be a deeply emotional journey. But as the story unfolds, things start to feel a bit...cluster-ish.

Eloise comes across so differently on the page than she does on screen—less witty and more impulsive, which threw me off a bit. While the book has its sweet and tender moments, it wasn’t my favorite in the series. Still, if you’re reading through the Bridgertons, it’s worth the ride.

When He Was Wicked

This was hands-down my favorite book in the Bridgerton series. We thought Francesca had her happy ending—but in true Julia Quinn fashion, it’s heartbreakingly snatched away. What follows is one of the most emotional and beautifully complex love stories in the series.

Michael and Francesca have undeniable chemistry, and once she finally gives in? All the spice. It’s a quick, engaging read that’s equal parts romantic and raw. I couldn’t put it down.

Curious to see how this one translates to screen—especially with Michael being reimagined as Michela. It’s a bold move, and I’m looking forward to them doing this love story justice.

It’s In His Kiss

I really enjoyed this one! It’s full of charm and wit, with a delightful side plot that adds a layer of intrigue to the romance. We get to see a whole new side of Hyacinth—sharp, bold, and surprisingly vulnerable—and her relationship with Lady Danbury is such a sweet grandmother-granddaughter dynamics in the series.

Also… don’t skip the after-credit scenes! They add such a fun touch to wrap things up. Definitely worth the read, especially if you’re a fan of clever heroines and hidden treasures.

On The Way To The Wedding

Finally—it’s Gregory’s turn! This one has a definite cat-and-mouse vibe, with Gregory chasing love and facing more than a few unexpected twists. The beginning starts off a bit slow and didn’t fully pull me in at first, but the second half cranks up the drama and delivers a much more engaging ride.

Fair warning: the after-credit scenes include a triggering moment involving a difficult birth, so be mindful going in. While not my favorite Bridgerton book, it’s still a satisfying way to round out the series.
